“Life,” said Marvin, “don’t talk to me about life.”
He turned hopelessly on his heel and lugged himself out of the cabin. With a satisfied hum and a click the door closed behind him.”

Our autumns are frequently hectic. The autumn on this part of the globe starts officially on Sept 1 – yesterday – but when I look into my calendar, the activity level associated with it started for sure during the last few weeks. A lot of this, of course, is because the company I work for has its fiscal year running from Sep to Aug – so right now we are actually celebrating New Year 😉
The photo above is from MUC last Monday. The plan – in terms of regularily updating this column of the blog – was to drive to the airport in the morning, listening to music, and then write up the post when I was back home in the evening.
Traffic held all of my attention in the morning, however – music was on, but I was stressed out completely due to massive queueing and barely made it to the right gate in the airport within time. And going back, the above happened – a two hour delay due to MUC temporarily closing down due to the most impressive rain and thunderstorm I have ever witnessed. Visibility you can judge – I guess around 30 meters. There is a big building across the apron in that photo!
So I came home late, no thoughts of blogging but all about sleeping. And the rest of that week – full speed at work.
This week? Full day meeting with a major customer Monday and a dinner with a steak that was truly magnificent but also sent me straight to dreamland when I got home. And so it goes on.
Three business trips planned for September – two taking off on Mondays. So maybe, just maybe (read: quite likely), irregularity is here to stay for a while…
