Monday Motorway Music™, January 12 – Wet, Wet, Wet

Man, but it is dreary in Denmark. Ok, we had some windy weather – very windy, even – over the weekend. Enough to close bridges and tear selected bits off houses in Northern Jutland and the like. Enough, in any case to make the media find the higher-pitch voices and the bigger types.

But mainly, it’s warm (for the season) and wet. Which, oddly enough, makes me feel it to be much colder. The humidity at 4° C somehow seeps into my bones and I utterly shudder. Whereas in my favourite winter weather – clear blue skies and frost – I am a reasonably happy camper.

And then of course, at some point, there will be spring and summer…

Don’t Speak – No Doubt
Back In Black – AC/DC
Deacon Blue – Steely Dan
All That She Wants – Ace of Base
Hit That Jive Jack – Diana Krall
Invisible Touch – Genesis
Papa Was A Rolling Stone – Temptations
Fading Like A Flower – Roxette
(and, sorry, nothing by Wet, Wet, Wet – bet you thought that would come 😉 )
