Monday Motorway Music™, January 7 – normality and the odd mix

Not a motorway and not the current weather. But from the same car…

This post may actually represent a return to normality – “at an improbability level of two to the power of two hundred and seventy-six thousand to one against – probably much higher.”* The music list was played on the motorway and not in a quiet home or a plane seat and both the listening and the post writing did happen on a Monday – back to the original concept, in other words.

I frequently confess taking it as a compliment when people accuse me of being a little outside of the ordinary (my daughter probably was not much more than 7 the first time she put her head at a slight angle and looked at me and quietly said, “Dad, you’re strange!”). So the normality that heads up this post obviously have to be offset by something quirky. Which I think the music list of today fulfils nicely – there’s a twist or two in there 🙂

Blame it on the Boogie – Michael Jackson
Love in the First Degree – Bananarama
Roseanna – Toto
Missionary Man – Eurythmics
Volare – Dean Martin
Help! – Bananarama

Update: On the way home on the motorway that same Monday?
Manic Monday – The Bangles.
I kid you not…
